Alright if you cant find it do this
____________________________
1: Click the "start button"
2: Click "My Computer"
3: Click "Local  Disc (C:)
4: Click "Program Files"
5: Find and click "Microsoft games"
6: Click the "Freelancer" folder
7: Click the "EXE" folder
8: Click the "FLDIRECTIP" in the EXE folder
9: Then a small window will open up once that opens put this code in the bar 67.19.60.114

10: Highlight the page and pull it downward and it should go down then click the launch freelancer button and there you go

Hopefully this guide will help you find freeport 7 a lot easier oh and the thanks goes to Heiraxes for some reason i couldent find it either and none of the server lists were coming up...well have fun on freeport 7 i'll be on in a few hours

I'm just installed Freelancer again and can't connect to the global server.
is it down? or permanently down?
I can't seem to connect directly to the IP, it won't show in the list.

any ideas? is there another port being used?

it was on the server, but because of a typo in my code, it couldnt read the code that creates the page .... hence the error you saw.  But once I fixed that code, viola  I own the server, so I do know it was on there.  Thanks for helping

if you "right-click" the page, and choose "view page info", it says the site is rendering in quirks mode.
